BAFFLING MYSTERIES
This site is dedicated to telling the stories of Unsolved, Baffling Mysteries. These are not tales of fiction. These are real-life events that have been recorded through the annals of time. Some of these occurrences are significantly historical; while others are on a lower scale, the mysteries behind them are just as perplexing.
These stories vary in complexities, as they are a part of every conceivable conception; from mystical to scientific, to unknown phenomena, weather anomalies, the supernatural, spiritual entities, hypothetical spatial-time distortions, extraterrestrial encounters, government cover-ups, missing persons, eerie disappearances, and crimes of mankind that remain unsolved and have morphed into cold cases over time.
Some will say that much of what I mentioned in the previous paragraph is fictitious. That some of these tales and the stories behind them are just too inconceivable to believe, and defies all logic…as we know it. However, the point is that these are how the stories were reported and recorded. Yes, some of these stories are truly amazing. Extremely bewildering. But until a rational explanation or concrete evidence is presented to counter the narratives of these incidents, then they will forever be…BAFFLING MYSTERIES.
About Me
About Me: I have always been “Geeky” when it comes to amazing stories that are shrouded in mystery and cannot be simply explained away. Legends and oddities can be quite fascinating, and I’ve always been intrigued with the ideas presented.
I’ve been this way since I was a kid growing up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania back in the 60s and 70s. My love for comic books and reading those “Where Monsters Dwell” monthly stories only fueled my appetite for investigations about the unexplained. I would stay up at night to watch crime and mystery shows. Alfred Hitchcock. Night Gallery. The Outer Limits. And my all time favorite…The original Twilight Zone. All of these mediums were impactful to me growing up.
I am a military veteran, having served 22 years in the Air Force. It was meaningful as it allowed me to see parts of the world that I’m sure I would have never experienced without it. It has led me to where I now reside, in Texas.
In 1987, I seen the first episode of “Unsolved Mysteries,” and I was instantly captivated with the show and all of the conspiracy theories. And in 1993, the X-Files launched, giving me a robust flavor of Sci-fi, mythology, horror and government mistrust. And with the advent and advance of the internet, I’ve been able to access so many different recounts of exotic and marvelous strange tales.
It has led me to this: Baffling Mysteries. I am not trying to solve any of these cases, but present them to the viewer who may have never known these tales of puzzling secrets actually exist. I want to thank Jessica B., who has helped me create the YouTube site to make it all possible. I also want to thank all who have given me positive feedback and have been an inspiration to me (you know who you are; Lavon, Marque, Wendell). I hope my site inspires others to delve into this genre of intrigue, and even be entertained about the mysterious unsolved wonders of this world.
